DESCRIPTIONS
HOPE KIDS:
At Moments of Hope Church, we believe in strong families, and we hope to support parents as they lead their children. On Sunday mornings we have opportunities to serve in our Little Kid rooms from birth-kindergarten at both the 9 and 11 AM services. We also have a welcome table for our families to pick up materials for their Big Kids to attend our family worship services. Check in is also a wonderful serve opportunity to meet new families and help get their Little Kids checked in to our system for their specific classroom.
Monthly, we have a Big Kid event for 1st-5th graders. Our teen volunteers are crucial at these events as our Big Kids love having a teen lead them. We also need adults to serve at these events with check in, serving the meal and overseeing the activities.
Quarterly, we have preschool gatherings for our families and their Little Kids from birth-kindergarten.

AVODAH:
Avodah Student ministry serves Middle and High School students and their families across the Charlotte area. We come alongside students and their families during some of the hardest years in a person’s life. Our mission is to see students living our their faith at school, on the field, in the pool, in the music studio, etc. and then launch into young adulthood as a rooted disciple of Jesus. We equip students through our MS Nights, HS Nights, All In Nights, Breakout Nights, Service Events, and Trips/Retreats.
This ministry needs leaders who are willing to assist with check-in, hospitality (cooking, setting up food, cleaning, etc.), leading Barnabas groups of 8-10 students, leading MS and HS trips, and helping mentor students who have a desire to grow in a certain area. As you get involved and lead, God will show you why it is so important to equip the next generation of the church and why this next generation will change the world.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
Friendly faces, warm welcomes and memorable moments are at the heart of our First Impressions Ministry. First Impressions Hopesters greet and make all feel welcome. They collect the offering and are always willing to go the extra mile to make everyone feel at home at Moments of Hope Church.
SECURITY:
Our security team members are servants who use their skills and abilities to serve God’s kingdom and to love one another through providing a safe and secure place to worship and fellowship. Their ultimate objectives are to glorify God by acting in ways to increase the safety of those around us. Security team members are trained to provide a safe and secure place to worship and fellowship utilizing a variety of methods which may include physical force and beyond. Most of our security team members legally carry a concealed firearm during service. The security team trains several times a year and serves as a back-up to the police and deputy sheriffs we have during our services.

HOPE FARM:
At Hope Farm, we have been given an incredible opportunity to steward this beautiful and unique piece of property that God has entrusted to Moments of Hope Church.

From mowing grass to planting flowers to repairing structures to building new ideas, there is so much to be done to cultivate the land both practically and spiritually as we realize the vision that God has for Hope Farm. No matter what season of life you are in, we would like to invite you to become a "Hope Farmer" by volunteering at Hope Farm. Together, we will work together to see the advancement of something very special that will impact many souls for the Kingdom of heaven.
PRAYER TEAM:
Prayer is a critical part of the mission of Moments of Hope Church. We are seeking prayer team members who will help with written and online prayer requests, in-person prayers, and the visitation prayer team. Individuals for these positions will exhibit high character and will protect the privacy of those that submit requests.
