We believe that once you KNOW and GROW in Jesus, you will be compelled to GO into the world and spread this Hope with others. ​ Following is a list of active ministries that MOHC partners with and supports financially. We encourage you to get involved and make a difference.

City of Hope CLT is an extension of Moments of Hope Church, under the leadership of David Chadwick. MOHC has partnered with eight local ministries to bring the hope of Jesus to families throughout Charlotte.

As part of this outreach, Moments of Hope partners annually with radio station WBT on the "City of Hope Christmas campaign." Since 2020, this campaign has raised over $851,000 to help struggling communities in and around Charlotte.

A Better World (a ministry of Christ Resurrection Church) is an after-school program for at-risk kids who live in troubled homes and neighborhoods. We equip them with the skills and confidence to be responsible adults by nurturing their physical, academic and spiritual development. The kids who stick with our program are guaranteed a positive, life-changing experience.

Learning Help Centers of Charlotte provides scholastic, spiritual and social support to families mired in generational poverty. Our goal is to advocate for, invest in and mobilize resources to benefit awesome, yet vulnerable, children and families.

West Blvd Ministry is starting a 'Homework Helper' program in Little Rock Apartments (5712 Leake Street). The group will be meeting at the multi purpose room on Tuesdays & Thursdays (3-5pm). NEEDED: 12 volunteers per Tuesday & Thursday. Looking for both women and men.

Charlotte Rescue Mission is a leader in providing free Christian-based residential recovery programs that help people struggling with the disease of addiction achieve long-term sobriety, find employment and stable housing, and restore and build healthy relationships.

GATE Pregnancy Resource Center (GATE PRC) helps women and families who are facing an unplanned pregnancy until the child is 12 months old. It is our mission to empower individuals and families facing pregnancy or abortion-related issues to choose life by sharing compassion, hope, education and healing through the love of Jesus Christ.

At Harvest House, it is our mission to  create a community where individuals impacted by homelessness, poverty and unemployment are empowered through our transitional programs and transformed by the love and ministry of Jesus Christ.

We are a 501C3 Non-Profit Christian Organization for Youth Soccer. We serve boys and girls, ages 4 to 18. We share our faith in Jesus Christ with our players during practice. Our practice facilities are located in Pineville.  We have recreational soccer teams for boys and girls, ages 4–18.

 

Our Mission is to tell kids and teens about Jesus Christ through Soccer.

Justice Ministries is committed to combating sex trafficking and sexual exploitation of women, with a focus on rescue and housing. Our goal is to locate victims of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation, help them get out of their situation and into a safe place, facilitate an environment conducive to healing, and assist them in their transition to independence.

Everyone can do something: From investing financially, to engaging in foster care or adoption, we believe every Christian is commissioned by God to care for the the orphan in the womb and outside the womb. Whether you’re an adult or a teenager, everyone can do something.

LOT Carolinas' purpose is to identify and service the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of children and their caregivers, with the primary focus on children in foster/kinship care. Through a community effort of local churches, businesses, and caring citizens; applying the Biblical principle of helping those in need to glorify God.

Project Freedom was formed here in the Carolinas to address a critical unmet need for children and youth rescued from sex trafficking and sexual exploitation, including young mothers.

The QC PRC is a ministry to women facing unplanned pregnancies that partners with the local church to serve her family, save her child, and share the Gospel.

Samaritan's Purse mobilizes and equips thousands of volunteers to provide emergency aid to U.S. victims of wildfires, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters. In the aftermath of major storms, we often stay behind to rebuild houses for people with nowhere else to turn for help.

Seeds of Hope is dedicated to building community and providing financial support for talented young adults. Our scholars are leaders with big dreams and have a heart to serve their communities.

"YoungLives - Charlotte Urban" has opportunities to be YL leaders, YL Mentors but also opportunities to serve at our Bridging the Gap virtual learning center Mondays - Thursdays as room coordinators, bus/van drivers (we provide transportation for students), and tutors.

Youth Commission exists to reach the world for Christ through youth. We host student-led, adult supported, Bible clubs in middle and high schools throughout Charlotte and the surrounding areas. Our student leaders seek to proclaim the Gospel through weekly Bible studies, fervent prayer and regular service projects on their school campus and throughout their community.
